I cannot lie – I used to love a chilled, quality champers. Then, on 28 December 2011 I made a decision that I would not quaff a glass of Mumm, Amberley Estate, Plantagenet Omrah, a Cosmopolitan or any of my other favoured alcoholic beverage for one year. Why you ask? I just wanted to prove I could have a good time with out a champers in my hand, also I was getting sick of paying cab fares every time I went out to dinner or a catch up with friends: even though it was the safest way to get home. What’s more, it seemed a good way of saving a few dollars etc – I digress – that is a whole other post.
My gorgeous friends: please don’t allow my abstinence to deter you from enjoying a Champagne Cocktail with me on Friday night at The Launch of Platform of Women.
I know in this chilly season, after a long week you get home on Friday night, slide in to your slippers and can easily whip up several reasons NOT to frock up and come celebrate The Launch – well – I’m going to beat you to it and give you seven reasons with a counter reason why you SHOULD come and celebrate with me:

I will get you a coke, juice, beer, shiraz or water – I can even arrange a fabulous latte if you would like one |

I can’t be bothered |
You will always regret not coming – especially when you see the amazing pics of everyone having a great time |

And the most famous excuse of ALL TIME – I don’t have a thing to wear! |
Remember – we haven’t see your entire wardrobe yet – so throw on your favourite frock, a little lippy and come down and say hi! You will love it |
