This posting has been inspired by the amazing Serena Star Leonard, the author of “How to Retire in 12 Months”, and co-owner of www.grassrootsinternetstrategy.com.au who celebrated her birthday with a list.

It’s true – I’m a List Lover! To Do Lists; What to Achieve by I’m 50 Lists (blew that!); Perfect Man Lists (Really blew that one!); How to Save Money Lists; Household Repairs Lists, and the lists go on.  Where do I keep these lists?

• On the fridge
• The white board in the kitchen (that list hasn’t changed for a year!)
• The blackboard in my home office
• The white board in my ‘other office’
• The iPhone apps (two of them)
• The note books in my bag (notebooks without lines, as lines block creativity)
• The post-it-notes on my desk
• The journal by my bed

I also love reading other peoples’ lists.  I can’t help myself.   Does that make me a list voyeur?

Well, you can imagine my delight when I discovered a blog about Lists! Meg, the author from Demanding Joy, has written a list of lists you should write.

At my 50^th birthday my gorgeous friends compiled a list of ‘50 Things You May Not Know About CaAtherine’.  It was awesome!   So, without further ado, here is my list of the week:

1.        When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut;
2.        I’ve been married once;
3.        I’ve been divorced once;
4.        I once shaved my head (to the scalp) to raise money for charity;
5.        I got my driver’s licence in a small country town called, Bencubbin;
6.        I used to live on a boat;
7.        I studied at Illinois State University;
8.        I fell off a firemen’s pole and broke my ankle;
9.        I have two cats; Saturn and Venus;
10.             My birthday is in December;
11.             I gave up drinking (alcohol) last December – just because I could;
12.             For 25 years I tried to have children;
13.             I’ve had two ectopic pregnancies;
14.             I learnt to surf when I was 14 years old;
    
15.             I broke my leg playing indoor netball at 38 years old;
16.        Over 80% of my clothes are black;
17.        I’m a huge fan of Pat Flynn; 
18.        My favourite movie of all time is “Citizen Kane”;
19.        My favourite flower is the orchid;
20.        I have a tattoo on my right thigh of a Cattleya Orchid;        
21.             I got my tattoo in Peoria, Illinois;
22.             My favourite holiday spot is Bohphut, Koh Samui;
23.             I collect snow domes;
24.             I’m a trained make-up artist;
25.             My favourite piece of clothing is a ‘muu moo’ or kaftan;
26.        I believe in random acts of kindness;
27.        My sister is 11 years older than me;
28.        My eldest brother is nearly 20 years older than me;
29.        I get nervous walking into a crowded room;
30.        My favourite animal is the wombat;
    
31.             I’m a huge fan of Dr Catherine Hamlin;
32.             I’ve been to Taiwan;
33.             I’ve been to Malaysia;
34.             I used to live in a place called – Normal, Illinois (Go Redbirds!);

37.        I still love writing my posts and stories in long hand (before typing them up);
