They say time flies and all that.  Well, the time is actually getting away from me – it is just over a month till the celebratory launch of Platform of Women.

Today I had this conversation with a new friend:

• New Friend: “How are you feeling about the launch?
• Me:  immediate response, “Excited, of course”.
• New Friend: “ Aren’t you scared?”
• Me: “Scared? Why would I be scared?”
• New Friend: “What if no one comes?”
• Me: “Then I’ll have lots of food to take home.”

Of course I’m nervous; I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t, but I know the launch will be a success.  Why you ask?  It’s simple – because I believe in Platform of Women.
